ASSISTED STEERING SYSTEM $3495
The unique EZ-Steer® assisted steering system turns the steering wheel for you by combining a friction wheel and motor with GPS guidance from the EZ-Guide® Plus lightbar. Now, while the EZ-Steer system keeps you +/- 6-8 inches on line in any terrain, you can focus on many different tasks, such as spray or planter performance. Basically, the EZ-Steer system gives you time to ponder the fuel and input savings of straighter rows -while reducing driver fatigue.

EASY TO INSTALL AND OPERATE
The EZ-Steer system is easy to install, setup and use. Installation can be completed in less than 30 minutes with 1 wrench. No need for complex hydraulic interfaces. You can remove the system from a vehicle in a few minutes and never know it was fitted.

HANDS FREE ON ROUGH AND ROLLING TERRAIN TOO!
Trimble's exclusive T2™ terrain compensation technology gives the EZ-Steer user +/- 6-8 inch pass-to-pass accuracy and smooth hands-free driving on rolling, sloping or even rough terrain such as ditches waterways and terraces. This optional feature uses two accelerometers and two gyroscopes to compensate for roll and yaw. Information from these sensors, located in the steering controller, is used at 10 times per second to compensate the GPS position for sloping and rough terrain - as illustrated by the diagram below.

AgGPS® EZ-Boom™ 2010 Automated Application Control System $1895

The new AgGPS EZ-Boom 2010 boom switching and spray rate control system system from Trimble is designed to help growers cut input costs, ensure the accuracy of spray applications, and reduce stress during peak fieldwork periods.

  • Automatically controlling up to 10 separate automated boom sections, avoiding overspray and untreated gaps on angled end rows, terraces, waterways and other no-spray areas electronically "flagged" within a field. The EZ-Boom system also calculates total applied area, automatically subtracting no-spray areas, so the applicator knows exactly how much spray has been used.

  • Delivering precise rate control field reducing the application cost of the chemical, and maximizing the performance of the application—no more empty tank with two rounds to go! The EZ-boom system uses signals from the flow meter and GPS speed to automatically adjust flow rate. By using the GPS for accurate speed measurement, the need for ground radar is eliminated. This reduces operator distraction and ensures the best-possible application job.

  • Simplifying installation and reduces equipment costs for spray systems. The EZ-Boom 2010 system works in conjunction with, or replaces most currently available rate controllers. So if it's time to replace your "old faithful" system or upgrade it to automatic boom section control, the AgGPS EZ-Boom 2010 system—along with an AgGPS EZ-Guide Plus system or AgGPS EZ-Steer system—will help you do the job at a highly competitive price.

  • Producing an exact real-time summary map that shows the sprayed area that is viewable on both the EZ-Guide Plus system and the AgGPS FieldManager™ display, now an applicator can be certain that the entire field has been applied. Using the FieldManager display a summary report and map can be generated and viewed in any Web browser, making it easy to read by all customers.

The EZ-Boom system automatically performs several critical functions that help save chemicals while protecting crops and the environment—and does them far more accurately than is possible with any human operator. The new AgGPS EZ-Boom 2010 system also helps protect operators against claims of improper or incomplete application, providing peace of mind that they've done the best application job possible.

Growers have three options for installing the new EZ-Boom 2010 system to interface directly into flow meters and valves, depending on existing equipment and desired performance features. Those familiar with Trimble EZ-systems will require about 15 minutes to learn how to operate the AgGPS EZ-Boom 2010 automated application control system.

Performance highlights:

  • Makes application operations more effective and economical... saves input costs by reducing over and under application of fertilizers and crop protection chemicals
  • User can gain rate control performance from EZ-Guide Plus system and still make good use of existing controllers without having to buy additional equipment
  • Precisely applies target rate across the entire field to ensure best-possible application job
  • Works with many popular spraying systems
  • Reduces operator stress by eliminating need to monitor pressure gauges outside the cab
  • Easy-to-learn... in about 15 minutes for those familiar with basic GPS tools such as the AgGPS EZ-Guide Plus lightbar guidance system or AgGPS EZ-Steer assisted steering system.

The Trimble® AgGPS® Autopilot™ automated guidance system will automatically steer your vehicle at one inch repeatability from plant to harvest in any field pattern.

Trimble's AgGPS Autopilot guidance system extends your operating hours so you can work when you need to, maximize the precision of your rows, and even decreases fuel and input costs.

Simple to use

The Autopilot system connects to your vehicle’s power steering system, then using the in-cab display you can select from straight, curve, pivot, and headland field patterns and view the system operating. Once the Autopilot system lines up the vehicle at the beginning of a row, the automated steering guides the vehicle smoothly while the display provides visual feedback on your course—it’s that simple.

Works on all terrain

T3™ terrain compensation technology ensures the AgGPS Autopilot system works on slopes and rough terrain. Inertial measurement technology corrects for roll, pitch, and yaw to insure you are where you want to be, even in the roughest ground conditions.

 New AFS PRO 600 Monitor

RACINE, Wis. - Case IH is improving customer productivity by making autoguidance for cropping systems more integrated, flexible and easy to use.

"For the first time, operators have the option of using autoguidance technology in their combines during the long days and nights of harvest," says Kirk Wesley, global marketing Advanced Farming Systems manager. "Being freed up from the task of steering reduces stress and fatigue, and allows the operator to stay in the field longer and remain productive."

The new Case IH AFS (Advanced Farming System) Pro 600 color monitor will be used with Case IH AccuGuide Systems to provide both curved and straight line guidance on the new Axial-Flow(r) 7010 and 8010 Series combines as well as Magnum(r) and Steiger(r) tractors.

The monitor is fully integrated, Wesley says.  In addition to autoguidance, the AFS Pro 600 handles yield monitoring and mapping tasks on all Case IH Axial-Flow combine models, including the Axial-Flow 2577 and 2588 combines. "And next spring, growers can put the monitor back to work on Case IH Early Riser(r) 1200 Series planters to manage planter functionalities and prescriptions, such as maps for variable seed planting," he notes.

Wesley says this flexibility has multiple advantages for growers. "This portability allows the operator to use one monitor for all tasks, which saves money. It also saves time, because the operator only has to learn one system." Another feature of the AFS Pro 600 is login capability, which allows the operator to log specific data on each field, for precision passes every time through.

"Physical improvements, based on field experiences of our precision-farming customers, have also been made to improve ease of use," Wesley says. "The screen area is larger, 10.4 inches, in color, and it's easily readable even with sun glare."

Case IH AFS brings new technology and integrated management systems to professional farmers globally.  "Our promise is to provide an information technology platform that is powerful, intuitive and flexible," Wesley says.  "And integrated components like the AFS Pro 600, which lessens stress and strain on the operator while reducing skips and overlaps, maximize productivity and efficiency in the field.  We'll continue to provide precision farming technology that increases productivity and returns dollars to the customer's bottom line."
